i. what do you
think is the most important issue in this election?:
Make poverty history
ii. why did you make the
decision to stand in this constituency and for this party (as an
independent)?:
I made the decision to
stand as candidate in Dunfermline because I believe In fighting for
ordinary people like myself. Fighting for local issues in
our communities.
iii. what kind
of vote are you expecting on May 5th?:
If I could get 50 new
members for the Party I would be quite happy.
iv. aside from the vote what
are you hoping to get out of this campaign?:
A sense of achievement knowing that I have done my best
to fight for local issues in Dunfermline West.
v. in your view
what is the greatest threat to our civil liberties at the moment? :
Tony Blair.
vi. Blair has taken us to war
three times since coming to power (not including the occasional ad hoc
bombing raid) in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq. Can war ever be
justified? :
There is always a hidden
agenda behind war. The true facts are never disclosed. They bring up the
concept of terrorism when it does not exist, for their ulterior motive
to create fear, panic, and most importantly, WEALTH for the government.
vii. There is very little left
to privatise in this country, if you had your way what would be brought
into public hands? :
Everything, the public
should draw funding to buy one thing at a time, which would create jobs
for local people. A revenue for future projects to create wealth in
local communities, towns & cities which would then bring better
resources & a sense of wealth & community spirit to all. With their
first project that has been purchased they can raise enough money to
start up the next. Taking small steps in each community can create
wealth & understanding & equality between local people, to raise
awareness of local issues and take the decisions out of the government's
hands.
viii.
Some
environmental campaigners have started talking about nuclear power as a
way to bring down CO2 emissions - what do you think of this? :
This topic of conversation will always go round in a
circle & never be constructively addressed. We need to redress the
situation, NOW.
ix. Asylum and immigration will be central
issues in this election.
What action on this issue would you like to see the next
government push through? :
Inclusion & equal
opportunities for all.
x.
What question do
you wish was on this list but doesn't appear? :
Does Labour
actually know what working class means?
