i.
what do you think is the most important issue in this election?
To clean up this world of the muck being thrown at it by corporate
organisations with selfish agendas. - if we can't
breathe fresh air, drink clean water and eat clean food then the rest doesn't
matter a damn as no-one will survive to make it all work.
ii.
why did you make the decision to stand in this constituency and for this
party (as an independent)?
I live here, It's the only one with common sense, clarity of vision and
compassion.
iii.
what kind of vote are you expecting on May 5th?
low.
iv.
aside from the vote what are you hoping to get out of this campaign?
educating more people about Green policies and how they are the simple,
logical answers to today's problems.
v.
in your view what is the greatest threat to our civil liberties at the
moment?
A Tory or Labour Government. ID Cards
vi.
Blair has taken us to war three times since coming to power (not including
the occasional ad hoc bombing raid) in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Can war ever be justified?
No. Self-defence and calls for help can.
vii.
There is very little left to privatise in this country, if you had your
way what would be brought into public hands?
Water in Scotland should be kept in public hands,
transport, education, health, economy, energy
viii.
Some environmental campaigners have started talking about nuclear power as a
way to bring down CO2 emissions - what do you think of this?
Rubbish.
There are too many other dangers connected to nuclear power. If renewables
were used correctly we can have an abundance of clean energy, especially in
Scotland
ix.
Asylum and immigration will be central issues in this election.
What action on this issue would you like to see the next government push
through?
Asylum seekers should be housed within communities that can offer appropriate
support with access to suitable legal, translation and medical
facilities and rights to work, housing, social security and freedom. To be
selfish, we need more immigrants here - people with skills in particular.
x.
What question do you wish was on this list but doesn't appear?
Would you agree all elections should be by proportional representation, and
that all parties should receive equal media coverage.
