General Election questionnaire

We sent the following questionnaire to a whole number of progressive candidates at the forth coming general election (we reprint below with the accompanying letter) to help the left assess for themselves who they should be supporting - a kind of email hustings on the left if you like. As the questionnaires come back in we will bring them to you unabridged, (in alphabetical order according to constituency).

If you are standing in the General election and would like to take part, we apologise for not having contacted you so far, feel free to send your answers by email.

I’m writing to invite you to take part in the famous Socialist Unity general election questionnaire. It shouldn’t take long and the results will appear unadulterated on the leftfield website http://www.socialistunitynetwork.co.uk/ where, literally, thousands of people will read it.

When filling in the questionnaire simply type your answers in the space between each question. We advise that you don’t go mad and write an essay for each one, but you don’t need to stick to one word answers either.
